Our Training Services
Loose Lead Walking
Is your dog constantly pulling on the lead, making walks stressful and unenjoyable? In my Loose Lead Walking sessions, I teach you and your dog how to walk together in harmony, making your outings relaxed and pleasant. I’ll work with you to:
Encourage calm walking behaviour
Improve your dog’s focus and attentiveness
Make walks enjoyable for both you and your dog, whether you’re in the Cotswolds countryside or around Tetbury
By the end of the training, you’ll be able to enjoy stress-free walks without the tugging and pulling.
Bonding with Your Dog
A strong, trusting relationship with your dog is essential for effective training and a happy, well-behaved pet. In these sessions, I focus on helping you build a deep, positive bond with your dog using positive reinforcement and consistency. This training will: Strengthen your connection with your dog Help your dog feel secure, calm, and confident Create a foundation for effective communication and training The stronger your bond, the more successfully your dog will respond to training and instructions.
Puppy Training: Creating Calm Puppies
The early stages of your puppy’s life are crucial for shaping their behaviour. My Puppy Training programme focuses on setting your puppy up for success, teaching essential life skills, and creating a calm, well-mannered dog. We’ll cover: Socialisation with people, dogs, and new environments Basic obedience commands (sit, stay, recall, etc.) Encouraging calmness and good habits from a young age Preventing undesirable behaviours before they start By the end of the programme, your puppy will be well on their way to becoming a confident, calm companion who fits perfectly into your home.
Behavioural Issues & Modifications
Is your dog struggling with specific behavioural issues like excessive barking, separation anxiety, or resource guarding? I offer Behavioural Training to address a wide range of challenges. Each session is tailored to your dog’s unique needs, and I focus on positive reinforcement to modify unwanted behaviours. Together, we’ll work on: Building your dog’s confidence and trust Reducing anxiety and stress-related behaviours Teaching appropriate behaviours through consistent training No matter the behavioural challenge, I am here to help you and your dog navigate through it.
Group Classes
Group classes are available in Weston-super-Mare every Friday evening during the summer months and every Weekend in Cirencester.
Group training sessions are a fantastic way to teach your dog great social skills around other dogs in challenging environments.
